I attempted to reboot to try and find out how to proceed and that is when Windows 7 also came up with the problem.I finally just reinstalled XP from the DVD Memory, graphics, etc.N-Lite: If you want to mod a setup disk, there are some other programs that can do this also. There's a "SATA RAID/AHCI Mode" setting in my BIOS that was set to "AHCI".

I thought I'd try bringing my old 40gig and 320 gig drives to work, then use a machine with 4 sata connections to hook up my two drive and clone them

I have my operating system on my old IDE drive that is small & in the process of trying to copy over my drive contents from the old one to the Ad Choices Please click here if you are not redirected within a few seconds.
