It appears that most of the aspnet_regiis options will only modify mapping that are already present, but removing them all first forces it to re-add them. I tried aspnet_regiis -s W3SVC which is supposed to re-add the mappings - but that didn't work either. Can one bake a cake with a cooked egg instead of a raw one?
