Thanks, managed to start Firefox in safe mode using the shift key, and this worked - then reset Firefox and everything works again. I've uninstalled Quick Locale Switcher in safe mode but when I try to boot it up again the problem still continues to exist. Get the error message but FireFox seems to work alright.
